The Path of Righteousness By Natalie Stephans
Each one of us has
a path in life...God gives us the freedom to chose which path we will
take in our lives. Dear gentle reader let me encourage you to chose the
path of righteousness.
Whether you turn to
the right or the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you saying,
"This is the way; walk in it." Isaiah 30:21
His God instructs
Him and teaches him the right way. Isaiah 28:26
God wants the very
best for you, you are his beloved child and He wants you to seek the
very best in all things. We all make mistakes but even in each one of
them we have the ability to rise and learn from our mistakes. We can
grow in wisdom and teach others through our trials. I want you to seek
the best in life not settle for second best anymore. Are you in a
situation that feels hopeless? I say there is hope even when you cannot
see or feel it. I urge you to seek God and His path in life for you.
Many times we do not think to go to God for even the simplest things but
He longs to be in every detail of your life but you must first stop and
seek Him. He is a gentleman in all things and prayer has the ability to
change everything..stop and pray even for just a minute..stop and pray
to Him for guidance, for the right words to say, to help curb your hurt
or anger in all situations, to bless others, to help with even small
details like grocery shopping or finding your keys..seek Him in all
things in everything. God will willingly guide your path. Just seek Him
first!
In all your ways
acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:6
I will instruct you
and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch
over you. Psalm 32:8
Now dear reader I
want you to chose the very best for your life. So often we take what we
are given but I see so much wrong with that attitude. You have to
dig deep to find treasures. You have to look out for the very best,
often it is hidden. I chose to surround myself with all that is good. In
the books that I read that inspire me to do good or that have real
meaning and wisdom within their pages. The movies I watch that give God
glory and edify my spirit. The company I keep that encourages me and
loves me so unconditionally. All these details.. even the way I keep my
home clean and beautiful put me on the right path. God is truly in every
detail of life. Let me encourage you today to invite God into your life
and your heart..let Him be your guide in all things from now on. You
will never be sorry and will look forward to living and choosing the
right path always!

dedicate this Devotion to Susan Boyles as of this Monday she is with our
precious Father in Heaven now and her struggle with cancer is finally
over. She is the mother of my dear friend Stephanie Leno and I know if
Sue were hear she would tell each one of you dear ladies to seek the
path of righteousness, to seek the face of God, we love and miss you
