Gracious Living & Purity

By Natalie Stephans

Dear gentle friends, I have lately had my heart focused on attaining grace and purity in my life and wanted to share with each one of you what God has put on my heart.

But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. Proverbs 4:18

My heart has been breaking as I see so many stories of how our young girls feel of so little worth in today's world. They struggle with unthinkable problems due to the most damaging low self esteem. I see these beautiful young ladies hurting their very souls in so many demoralizing ways! I just want to reach out to them and hug them! I want to cry with them, but most importantly I want to tell them that they do matter...that God made each one of them out of His deep profound love for them and He longs to help... if only they would reach out their hand to Him!

We have lost our way dear readers in so many ways...and the scars of childhood carry over to adulthood. But I am here to tell you "all is not lost"! There is a loving Father that will guide you and help you heal. No matter what your past may hold, you my dear friends, are precious to God and let me encourage you to seek higher ground and a better path. You can seek a purity in life..it is not popular to chose what is pure, but you will find freedom in seeking all that is good, honest and true. It is never too late to be a woman of grace and beauty, you are not so far gone that Christ can't come into your life and help you!! Just seek Him and you will find Him! (John 3-16)

And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, and to virtue, knowledge...2 Peter 1:5

When I think of the women of the past I think of the great women of virtue, they sacrificed so much for their families. My grandmother was a lady of grace and beauty. She worked very hard to cook wonderful meals for all of her large family, her and I would walk around her garden and glean walnuts to use later, she raised chickens and took care of bee hives for honey and pollination, she was always working in her garden, she would grow vegetables for her family and pick roses for her home, she sewed my mothers clothes and taught me how to sew a button when I was 5!  She stood up for the poor and needy, she said what she believed to be honest and true. She was a woman of grace and dignity! Sacrifices-- she made so many of them!! I see a goodness and purity in sacrifice and putting others needs before your own. I wish others could see the beautiful glory in sacrifice as well, sadly many do not...

Each one of you is a diamond, a true jewel to God. You are worthy and so very loved. You did not read this by mistake! Grace and purity may seem old fashioned but let me tell you some of us will travel the road less traveled. Be a woman of greatness, be a woman of grace, seek pureness in all things. God has a marvelous way of putting truth before our eyes and if your reading this, purity and grace are attainable for you too! You are each in my prayers dear gentle readers. I pray God will show you the best path for your life. The path to gracious living and purity!  You are so beautiful to me!
