The Sitting Room

The Sitting room is a quiet place in the house that you can snuggle up by the fire with a juicy book. I fell in love with the elegant detailing of this great old room, from the cozy window seats, Original Indian shutters, Chic fireplace and crown moldings. My favorite cozy nook is the built in window seats.

This room has great bones so all that was needed was removing the old wallpaper and freshening up the pine floors. We painted everything a soft white. We slip covered the existing window seat cushions, added French lace panels to the windows and a gorgeous French chandelier and fireplace sconces.
